1. Before we started working together, where were you at?
Before I started with Charlie I was quite chaotic around diet and exercise and got stuck in an all or nothing approach. I did too much, got injured and then did nothing. Cycle repeat.
2. What originally made you reach out to Charlie?
I knew Charlie through the boxing classes and liked his approach to fitness and sustainable approaches to exercise.
3. What did the process actually involve for you?
Charlie helped me look at my exercise preferences, the time I had available to exercise, diet and typical approach, and provided a training and nutrition plan to make my goals achievable, ensure I didn't overtrain ,and keep me motivated. I also had 1-1 training sessions incorporating boxing and strength works outs with a plan for the rest of my week.
4. How did you find the process itself?
The process was very easy, Charlie is very personable and knowledgeable and with his encouragement I stayed consistent with my training
5. What stood out most about Charlie's approach?
I really enjoyed the mix of boxing and strength training, it is a great combination for all round strength and fitness.
6. What changed as a result of the work?
I understand the importance of exercising in the right way, planning effective work outs that deliver on strength or fitness without over doing it and allowing adequate rest and recovery.
7. Did you achieve what you originally came for?
Charlie helped me develop my strength enormously as well as my boxing technique. I got a lot of knowledge during the process.
8. If someone was considering working with ChARLIE, what would you tell them?
I would recommend Charlie to anyone. Charlie is knowledgeable, honest and will keep you accountable.
